International & Exchange Students

Why not join this friendly group of International Private & Exchange Students who study at Lake Ginninderra College, Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, Australia?

They come from China, HongKong, Japan, Korea, Indonesia and Taiwan. The majority of these students live with Australian host families but some live independently ( with a friend or in a group house or flat) near the college. Although studying in a foreign country is extremely challenging, these students have the support of an International Student Co-ordinator / English as a Second Language teacher within the school. As well as studying English as a Second Language they are offered individual or small group tutorial time, each week. This English (T) course may be counted as one of the subjects for a University Admissions Index (tertiary entrance). The International Students form strong bonds with their class-mates and also make friends with native English speakers through their other classes. We warmly welcome all new International Private Students and help them to achieve entry to post-secondary courses (Australian Universities and Institutes of Technology)
