The Parents and Citizens Association
The Lake Ginninderra P&C Association is a voluntary organisation which:
The P&C meets monthly during school terms and invites all parents, carers and community members to the meetings which are also attended by the college Principal. The meetings are advertised in the school newsletter.
The P&C raises money by operating the LGC Community Education Program. A professional manager is employed and profits are used to improve the quality of the school environment. From time to time, the P&C manages small Commonwealth and ACT government grants.
Each year, the P&C elects two representatives to the ACT Council of P&C Associations to express our views on matters that concern the whole ACT College and school system.
The AGM of the Lake Ginninderra P&C will take place on the evening of the Meet the Teacher event at the college on Tuesday February 21. The evening begins at 6pm. The P&C meeting begins at 7.30pm.
P&C Committee 2011
ACT P&C Council representatives are Vivienne Pearce and Graeme Evans.
