Enrolling/Transferring - ACT Public Schools
ACT public school enrolments for 2020 opened on Monday 29 April 2019. This is for all enrolments from Preschool to Year 12.

Parents/carers are welcome to apply to enrol/transfer their child at any time during the school year using an online application form. Full details are available from the Education website.
Advice to students regarding Enrolment /Transfer Application
In the first instance prospective international students should contact the International Education Unit of the Education Directorate to have their eligibility to enrol in the ACT assessed.
Transfer - Interstate or Other ACT Schools
Students who have commenced year 11 or 12 study at another school may be eligible for recognition of the study they have completed to date.
Before Completing an Application to Transfer - ACT students
Year 11 students wishing to transfer are required to wait until semester 2 for commencement.
Contact the college prior to July for details.
Year 12 students may not transfer in 2018.
Application for a Place in Year 11 for 2019
Applications for placement in all ACT government colleges are made online. The enrolment link is open from 6am Monday April 30, 2018.
Initial enrolment period applications close on 9am Monday June 4, 2018.
Applications received after the initial enrolment period will be considered after initial offers of enrolment are made.
Offers in response to the initial period applications for enrolment will be sent by email or post on Wednesday, June 27.

NSW families are welcome to apply for specific pathway schools located in Tuggeranong and Belconnen. More information can be found at NSW resident enrolments.
Who Should Apply?
All parents/guardians of students who live in the ACT or surrounding regions of NSW subject to conditions outlined at NSW resident enrolments may apply for placement.
Before you start the application, you should:
- Discuss the application with your student.
- Visit the college on open night or by arrangement at another time.
What information will you need to complete your application?
- Your residential address.
- Your postal address.
- Contact telephone numbers – home, work, mobile - and an email address.
- College choice
- The courses intended to study at the time of completing this form
- Your Unique Student Identifier (USI).

How Will My Information Be Used?

What Do You Do When You Have Completed the Application?
The application should take between 10 and 15 minutes to complete.
Once you have completed the application you should print the final page, which will also provide you with a record number. This number is important and needs to be included in all future correspondence regarding your enrolment.
If you complete another application it will replace any you have previously submitted.
On time applicants will be offered a place at the college by email or it will be posted on Wednesday June 27, 2018
Subject selection will take place for these students in August 2018.
Late applications are accepted but may follow a different timeline depending on when the college receives these applications.
Additional Information for Students Applying for a 2019 Place in Year 11
Priority Enrolment Area (PEA)
Information about enrolment areas is available on the Priority Enrolment Area webpage.
Students who live in the PEA are guaranteed a place at UC Senior Secondary College Lake Ginninderra if they complete their application by 9am Monday 4 June.
Late applicants living in the PEA will be offered a place unless the college is fully subscribed.
Students Living Outside the PEA
Students who live outside the PEA may also apply online to be placed at University of Canberra Senior Secondary College Lake Ginninderra.
