Humanities are academic disciplines that study aspects of human society and culture. At UC SSC Lake Ginninderra College there are a range of Humanities subject on offer.
History - both Ancient and Modern History are offered. Students who are passionate about History can study both.
Global, Philosophy & Economics (GPE)
Global Studies, Philosophy and Economics courses help students develop a greater understanding of the world around them and the forces which shape the world – politically, economically, socially and morally.
Each of the disciplines in GPE develops in students analytical, critical, logical and problem-solving skills, which enable them to apply their learning to a wide range of scenarios and situations.
GPE is designed as a purposeful collection of courses, which can be studied in any combination of minors and majors. For more information, click here.
