To celebrate the International Day for Women and Girls in Science, three of our students, Sarah T, Bethany J, and Zoe L, participated the AFP Forensic Excursion, which was a unique event designed to ignite curiosity and showcase the remarkable achievements of women in forensics.
To celebrate the International Day for Women and Girls in Science, three of our students, Sarah T, Bethany J, and Zoe L, participated the AFP Forensic Excursion, which was a unique event designed to ignite curiosity and showcase the remarkable achievements of women in forensics. This was a wonderful opportunity for female students (and those who identify as female) to step inside the world of forensic science. We had an exclusive tour of the AFP Forensic Facility, and participated in a variety of activities, including learning about digital forensics, and collecting our foot print and finger print using real forensic techniques. What made the day even better was that our own Sarah T was the winner for the AFP Majura Forensics Fact Hunt price draw! Great work!
